EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

I was a competitive gymnast from my early childhood until I was 17 years old, and this helped me discover my passion for physical culture, training and the profound impact movement can have on us. I then started training in a gym, and fell more in love with the process of building strength, muscle, and changing body composition.

Like many women and girls involved in such a “body-focused” sport like gymnastics, I struggled quite immensely with my body image at a young age. I fell into a negative and restrictive cycle of overtraining and under-eating, disordered eating patterns, and ultimately this led me to lose my menstrual cycle for over a year.

The journey to heal my relationship with food, restore a regular menstrual cycle, and protect my health was challenging yet the most rewarding thing I’ve done for myself. The support I had from my own healthcare providers, particularly a dietitian, further solidified the passion I had for studying nutrition.

This has formed my approach for coaching - focusing on the empowering nature of improving performance, habits and quality of life and seeing physical and mental changes as a result. I believe you can achieve your health and fitness goals in a balanced, sustainable way and I am passionate about helping women embody the best version of themselves.
